In an interview with the Liverpool Echo, I have called for vital bus services to Arrowe Park Hospital to be protected – even if that means running them as loss leaders.
In an interview that can be read here, I said:
“Buses should be run as services, not for profit. The services from Rock Ferry and Bidston to Arrowe Park Hospital are poor and that’s wrong.
They should be run as loss-leaders if you can’t make a profit from them, because meeting real need has to come before making money.”
