Constituents will be aware that one of the issues I care most deeply about is tackling the homelessness crisis. I delivered my maiden speech on homelessness and prior to the pandemic, I volunteered each Sunday at the Charles Thompson Mission, helping to deliver hot meals to homeless people living across the Wirral.

Today, I have written an article for Left Foot Forward about the vital role that ending right to buy and launching an ambitious social house building programme has to play in ending the blight of homelessness once and for all.
